Accessibility

We want this site to be usable by everyone who wants to read it, including people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification or older devices.

This statement applies to www.llangenny.land. It was last reviewed in September 2026.

What we have done

• The pages are built from plain semantic HTML with a single, correctly ordered heading structure.
• Text is real text, not pictures of text, and resizes with your browser settings without anything breaking or overlapping.
• Colour contrast is checked against WCAG 2.2 level AA, in both the light and dark colour schemes.
• The site follows your device's light or dark setting rather than forcing one on you.
• Links are underlined, so they do not rely on colour alone to be recognised.
• Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the focused element is always visibly outlined.
• There is a skip link at the top of every page for anyone tabbing through.
• Our logo carries a written description for screen readers.
• It is the only image on the site. Nothing here is available only to people who can see a picture.
• There is no JavaScript required to read anything here, and no animation, video or audio.
• If you have asked your system to reduce motion, we honour that setting.

Welsh language

This holding page is currently in English only. We are a Welsh company in a Welsh-speaking valley and we intend to publish the full site bilingually. We would rather say that plainly than put up a poor machine translation in the meantime.

How accessible this site is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We believe this holding page meets that standard, but we should be honest about the limits of that claim: this site was built by us, not by a professional accessibility auditor, and it has not been independently tested. There may be problems we have not spotted.

As the site grows we will re-check each new page against the same standard, and we will update this statement when we do.

If anything on this site is hard to read or hard to use — or if you need something here in a different format, such as large print or plain text — please tell us. We would honestly rather know, and we will do our best to fix it.
